WHAT IS LIFE COACHING
Life coaching is a co-creative, collaborative process where coach and client work together to overcome hurdles that the client feels are holding them back, and identify ways that the client can achieve the successes they are seeking, whether personal or professional.
Life coaching is not therapy, although therapy can also be incredibly helpful for shifting energy and mindset in a way that makes moving forward easier. Life coaching is about self discovery and finding practical, tangible ways to move forward with clarity.
HOW LIFE COACHING CAN HELP YOUR ADHD
Accepting that you have ADHD later in life - whether diagnosed or not - can be a relief. There’s nothing wrong with you. In fact, to have made it this far despite your challenges demonstrates that you are a resilient and resourceful person. But it can also be difficult to see how to create change going forward. You have ADHD, but now what? This is where Second Start Life Coaching comes in.
I am both a life coach and someone who has ADHD, and I can help you:
Work with your brain instead of struggling against it.
Build compassion for yourself and shake off negative labelling,
Accept ADHD as a difference and not a failure.
Set goals that work with and for your unique brain.
Develop systems for managing schedules, tasks and deadlines - at work and at home.
Build strategies, routines and habits that empower you and help you take back control.
Rebuild your confidence and find your strength.
Overcome procrastination.
Break projects down into manageable steps to reduce overwhelm.
Become your own life coach.
If this resonates with you, book a free, no obligation 30-minute sample session with me to explore if working together could be a good fit.
Please note - I am not a therapist or a doctor, and I cannot prescribe medication. Therapy and medication are proven ways to manage ADHD, and I encourage you to explore all options with your doctor.
