ABOUT ME
My name is Anna Bowden and I help professionals with ADHD symptoms move from overwhelmed to feeling clarity, focus and control.
I have 25 years experience leading individuals to define their goals and build a pathway to their chosen success. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and train with the ICF-accredited Coach Training Alliance.
MY ADHD JOURNEY
My ADHD journey began age six, when I was relegated to the back of the stage at a school performance because I was fidgeting; a hurtful and disappointing experience that marked the beginning of 40 years of struggle with undiagnosed ADHD. Over the years I have been chronically unable to concentrate - at work or at school - unable to sit still and consistently late. The biggest impact, however, has been the feeling that there is something wrong with me. I have opportunities, a good job, a great family - why do I find life so hard?
After being sent for a bipolar evaluation by my doctor - a common misdiagnosis for women with ADHD - I ended up at an ADHD screening. Now I understand that there is nothing wrong with me. I simply have ADHD.
